94 prelude vtec running about 180k miles on a h22a wanna add a turbo kit, but i would need to either rebuild the h22a or get a new engine. help! already pushing 227 bhp

just look on craigslist for a crappy long block…i say crappy becuase if your going turbo, your gonna want to build it up to withstand it anyways..so getting one that has bent valves or burning oil is nothing…and the down time will be a little while…so at least youll have a car to drive and also have a motor to build on the side…
a new engine is always better it costs more but its better. or why dont you sell it and get a 5th gen prelude and you dont have to rebuild or or get a new engine…..
What mods have you already got? WIll they work with a Turbo?
If the engine is still good, a turbo might be okay, just don’t put the psi up too high.
