The H22 is the best engine, its already in the car bonus!.
A GSR and Type R engine are for integras. They are too small displacement and too low of torque numbers to get your heavy car going. You are going to need the basics, exhaust, intake…then go nuts. Get a some camshafts and pistons rods etc. and you will be happy with your twin cam 2.2L. A turbo is great idea just don’t plan on running over 6-8lbs or boost without first fortifying your internals. You will need all the supporting accessories for your turbo kit also…BOV,manifold, exhaust kit, wastegate intercooler, injectors..etc. But there are many kits out there that have it all. I have a RevHard Stage II kit on my cars and its great. Never any problems
A gsr, isn’t an engine.
Neither is a type r.http://www.hondahookup.com/charts/honda_…
And there’s a list of comparisons. Took 5 seconds on Google to find.
And like was mentioned, there’s A LOT more to turboing a car, than just a turbo.
Keep the H22 and put a turbo on it. It will make plenty of power. Enough to where working the suspension will be a higher priority than the engine bc otherwise your just gonna be sitting there spinning the wheels.
to turbo a n/a car you need a lot more than just a turbo you need to think about cooling and the strain it puts on the engine
H22; headers; pipe; turbo and NOS and your good to go with and MSD ignition
