I need help finding a turbo manifold… all other parts i.e. a turbo, wastegate and boost controller, intercooler plus some plumbing for it all I have. I realize there are many other parts but I have MOST of the bulk in cost already in my possession.

I was looking into an H22 swap but cannot find a shop in the buffalo NY area who is competent enough for me to trust this to. So next best thing turbo… only looking to run 5-7lbs boost.
any ideas where there’s a good place to get one?
I think you meant to say 1988 Honda Prelude. 1998 is the 5th generation model, which comes with a H22. It’s the 1988 that comes with the B20A5.
First of all, 65k on a 1988 is great mileage. That’s really good mileage for a car that is 20 years old! Most of them i see are at around 200,000+ miles. 5-7 lbs of boost on a B20A5 isn’t bad, but i would just do the swap if you can. I don’t know of any places, but hopefully you can find one. Thing is, seems like you have already got all the parts, so you’d have to sell them somewhere. So if you don’t wanna go through that hassle, go turbo on your 88. It’s been done before, and its been done on high mileage cars. So with a low mileage 88, i think a turbo wouldn’t be as bad.
