88 Ls Integra Motor Swap To A 94 Honda Civic Hatchback Is It Possible??

i recently purchased a 94 honda civic hatchback and looking to put a turbo kit with a LS 92-98 integra motor..but in the prosses of getting it all together on paper i realize i owen a 88 integra with a LS in it and i was wondering if its possable to do a swap….of course im going to change all the internal pistins, valves,valve spring and change the compretion….i had to ask myself its an ls isn’t it? why not?

    I think you can use crx axels for that. You can ask this site http://www.theintegraforums.com/. These people know a lot about different integra motor swaps. I’m pretty sure it’s possible, but I think it’s a little harder to find the parts for the first generation integra then the others.

    It all depends on your states laws on motor swaps. In most states you can only put a newer engine oin an older car, not the other way around. Emitions laws get strickter with each new year and to get an older engine to pass laws beyond its time is very costly.

    it depends on exactly which engine is in each car…i believe with the standard engines it should be fine, adding a turbo might be the hard part, you might have to move somethings in the engine around. but yes i believe it should be very possible
