My Husband has been having car trouble for about a wk & a half now. He runs race gas through his car about every weekend to go to the track, just thought I might mention this not sure if it makes that much of a difference. Anyways, he is on Forums like Honda-Tech & Turbo-D16 & has asked them with really no responces at all. So, I told him I would try here, Ive gotten many great answers here!!
He has written out a list of what his car is running, Symptoms, & What he has tried him self to resolve the problem. Its to long to put in this box so, I’m just going to put the link to thread he made at Honda-Tech.

We Appreciate any Help or Ideas!!
Thanks!

Well I am old school, but will try.. 27k is alot of boosted miles.. r u on nos? some of ur specs I did not understand.. n my basic understanding these principles apply to an engine, and when I troubleshoot I always go back to the basics. it works 98% of the time. timing, spark, and fuel.. When it won’t start, try some wd 40 into the intake to see if it will hit. just a little, ok? if it doesn’t burn it and roll over then ur issues are not fuel, ok? make sure ur plugs are dry.. I would run nd or ngk because theyre more reliable than champion.. I would also make sure u r not overboosting, and I would do a comp test. make sure ur timing belt is in excellent shape. remember the timing belt feels the increase in boost as well. and just think with the basics and u will narrow it down.. with all the tricks u have that is the best way to find it,, 1 of the 3 and then go from there.. and if all else fails talk to king neptune he is real good with rice burners. ha ha ha..
check to see if there is an intermittent problem with the injectors not firing at certain times, or the regulator dumping too much fuel into the chamber. you said that the plugs are soaked, umm, usually the soaked plug is either too much fuel or no fire. also, another thing to check is the distributor, these are extremely common for having this sort of problem and getting worse over time in hondas. i have personally replaced at least 20 distributors in the last 5 years and it always seems to be the problem with the no start. bad wiring in them are usually the problem.
I have an account on Honda-tech and bumped it so it goes on top. I cant seem to figure it out either he pretty much check all the items that I would. Maybe a bad ground, all the wires connected, did he check his fuel filter, is the fan working, thermastat. 21psi if its tuned it should run fine. GL
ok 27k at 21psi on a d16 z6 i would check that you aren’t getting a swell… you said that it was having a problem restarting hot right?? id say check that you aren’t blowing spark and fouling the plugs and then they just burn clean, or that the plugs you run aren’t rated for forced induction that high… not many companies adjust for a blown d16 running evo pressure lol that and you said that you had broken splines out of the block… make sure that on shift points when full boost that the block isn’t torquing and smacking the tubing and chipping them off… and that could explain the problem of the spark not firing right (out of line)… just a guess, have never heard of this kind of thing before, but tuner to tuner i have to say NICE =P
