2 Comments 23 January 2010

Ok I don’t want to race the car and I could give a flying rat’s a$$ what kind of engine the car has….. (not intrestead in all that turbo s**t)….the only thing I care about is gas milage saving and if I can modify any type of Honda Civic to a more sporty look………or do I have to get a certain type of Honda Civic? Please look at the pictures below…..I’m not intreated in buying the car but I’m just using the pics as an example to know if I can turn this car in to that car.

yes you can, if you want a 92-95 to look like a 96-00
    all you need is
    hood
    fender
    radiator support
    headlights
    front bumber
Just be prepare for some cutting and welding
are you trying to do this?http://www.streetdrivenperformance.com/g…
    it’s a 93 civic hatch with a 99 civic front end
you can even do this if you wantedhttp://myspace-065.vo.llnwd.net/01377/56…

No you cant because they are both different chassys and have totally different body styles. The one on craigslist is the civic generation from 96 to 00 while the other one is the civic generation from 92 to 95. You could get a different body kit that is similar to the one that is on modifiedstreetcars.com. If you really do care about your gas millage however I would not suggest a cheap body kit. Cheap body kits are not wind tunnel tested like performance name brands like Mugen or Backyardspecial. The cheap ones will actually create more wind drag at freeway speeds and cause a decrease in highway speeds making the engine work harder.
