so i have the D16Y8 Vtec engine in my civic that has 26k. miles on it and i plan on getting turbo the edleblock performer X kit comes with many mods with turbo and intercooler so should i just upgrade the internels or go to a B-seris engine? whats the best thing to do?
if you only have 26k on the motor leave it alone and boost the d series
It is a 1998 Honda. An 11 year old car. It does not have much of a retail value no matter what the condition, so spending on it is for you only. It will not ad value to the car for resale. The best advice is to spend as little as possible to get the car to where you want it. But remember, if the car was in an accident and written off, the value would not be there to cover your investment.
depends how much money you got. H22’s and K24’s are nice but expenive. B swaps are nice but can be expenisve too. Turbo kit would be my suggestion.
K24 is your best bet but its gunna be expensive. If you race then you could win it all back.
