I drive a Honda Civic, Automatic’06 model and am wondering whether it’s possible to fit a turbo charger into the car. And in terms of perfomance wise, would a manual car perform better then the automatic one?

Automatics are sometimes better at taking advantage the extra horsepower from a turbo. Remember Nissan 280 and 300- series? Quite a few of those turbos are built with automatic transmission.
However, rice-ing up a brand-new Civic that way seems to be somewhat of a waste. I’d look into a bit more mundane enhancements like intake, exhaust, and so on before I play with a turbo.
Why bother. It’s a Honda.
yes
Yes you can. a Manual car if you can shift it in a racing manner will out preform a automatic..But I like the automatic cause you never have to worry about missing a shift also why work for your car ?? Let it work for you..Good luck..
well.. first off yes it will fit. i have enclosed a link to greddy that now provides a turbo kit for your vehicle. and on the performance aspect. off the line you will be slower if u would have had a 5 speed. but on the highway and at high speed? you will have the advantage. given the longer gear ratio which helps you keep in boost longer this will help and your fuel economy will be greater than if you had a 5 speed. just enjoy it on the highway. i hope this helps…

Yes a turbo can be fitted, and a manual shift car will be a better preformer than an automatic. But it will work either way.
