the big problem here would be the mounts, finding a fuel pump to keep up with the motor, axels, and wiring so a good suggestion would be to find something a little newer unless your good at fabricating and know wat your doing odds are you don’t for even asking a question like this find an 88-91 civic hf or si save you alot of time and money


Okay, that is a 2nd gen model, you can do the swap, but i wouldn’t recommend it unless you are experienced in fabrication and are able to do mods without having many mistakes, b/c the margine for error in that swap is VERY small, and one small mistake could completely destroy the motor, tranny, and possibly really hurt somebody!
assuming you are talking about the second generation, sure, it has been done before, but you will have to custom make engine mounts and some axles.
now if you are talking about the third generation that was sold until 1987, hasport has mounts to help you swap a b series into it.
