Hi, im looking to buy a new car. im 19 and i want to make some modifications like an intake, exhaust, and suspension and possibly a turbo, but probably not the turbo. the prices are similar so im pretty much basing my decision on the criteria: performance, mileage, looks, and reliability. please help????
I just sold my 2007 Honda Civic…it was a dog. Never buy a Civic.
Of those cars the Mazda 3 would easily be the best.
Mazda- Beat Honda in quality, fun to drive factor and looks. The Scion is too popular, as well as the Honda Civic. The Fit will not be getting made in a couple years because they don’t sell.

honda civic couple is most realiable car you listed don’t get the mazda 3 its a piece of crap. who wants to drive a car called “fit” scion look alright. the honda civic coupe reminds me of a rsx which i like.
1. Don’t buy a new car. Go back a year or two and you can get the same car for much cheaper. For example, you could probably get a 07 MazdaSpeed 3 for the same price as a 08 Mazda 3.
2. If you want to mod cars then a stupid move is to start off with a FWD economy car. You have SOO far to go just to make the car respectable. With a turbo you’d probably get the doors blown off you by an LS1 F-Body and you can find those used for like $14K.
