i am a 19 year old, surprisingly, this will be my 3rd car. 94′ Acura integra, (sold) 02′ Acura RSX Type-S ( a commercial truck came into my lane and totalled it) and i am looking for my 3rd car…i am in a dilema becuase i love the Focus’ bang-for-the-buck value, (170hp, 6-speed manual, leather, heated seats, 17 inch rims) but i also want to have a turboed car (jetta 1.8 Turbo, comes with the car.) i am in college, so i wont have money to turbo a car myself… and i love the reliability of the Honda/Acura. i know becuase both of my previous cars were Honda… SOOOOO its very hard for me to decide as of now. HELP PLZZZ

I’d have to say either the 2000 Civic or the Jetta. My friend used to have the Jetta 1.8 5spd, that was a Quick car for being stock turbo with nothing done to the car. The Hondas always keep thier value in the long run. I’d stay away from buying the Ford, Even though they are usually the cheaper Buy, they usually don’t hold value.
I’ve always owned Honda’s or Toyota’s.
Go for the SVT or Civic. My girlfriend had a Jetta, that car was a pain in the *** to fix, it broke down too much (maybe because she was driving LOL) but the SVT is really a good car, my brother in law had one, and it has a supercharger so it already has potential. But the Civic SI (my first car, i miss it) would be a good car also if it has Vtec, but it doesn’t come with a turbo. The choice is up to you, just giving my two cents
get the honda, its relatively new, it will last forever, it has all the features you could want, you dont really need the turbo, hondas are cheap and easy to fix and dont break down often, and trust me, youll need all the money you can get in college
Jetta is cooler, more reliable, and will be worth that when you sell it. The focus will be worth $1500 soon.
If you like speed, you’d HATE the honda.
Ford Focus all the way
