hey a turbo will be pimp to put on a civic but i will warn you if you dont have high performance parts on that car especially since its a 1998 a turbo will screw up that entire engine within a matter of 3 months…trust me the same thing happened to my brother, when you have all stock parts that can only take the psi that the civic is pushing already and you just randomly throw twice as much on there…its not a pretty sight

If you’re living in California, I would say go with a Greddy turbo kit, they have a CARB sticker and are legal. Anything without a CARB sticker in California can result in issues when smoging your car, or even an additional ticket if you get stopped.
If you’re outside of California, there is a little more slack. Most of the kits that are cheap on eBay have manifolds that will crack with time. I do believe that Edelbrock also has a turbo kit for your car, while a little more pricey than the Greddy kit, is well manufactured and is an American company.

dont take shortcuts, have the internals upgraded or run on very low boost, civics and turbos can be an expensive job and even more expensive when its not done properly
