The B18, i have 2 CRXs with engine swaps. The 88 has a B18 in it. You can get all the mounts from Enjo.
Use the axles and the linkage from the B series.
Its hella easy to do this swap. I had to take out one of my radiator fans because the header wouldnt go on.
Turbo is hard to fit in these with a swap, but it can be done.
The D16a is for the 86-87 models, its a direct bolt in.
The d16Z6 is gay as a swap, the y8 is equally as gay.
The B16 is also a good choice because of the VTEC.

If you want to go turbo get the b18 that is non-vtec. It has the most torque out of all the options so you can keep turbo lag to a minimum. If you want to go all motor then the B16 vtec would be best. You can also get a b18 block and put a b16 vtec head on it, but this is more complicated. Juat stay away from the d series if you can help it. They will be the cheapest, but they are all SOHC and even the one with vtec only makes about 130hp.
