2001 s2000 vs. 1994 rx7 turbo?
Both are around $10,000. Which one would you get? I hope to get one this summer, if I can, I would only have around $2,000 for upgrades.
Which one is better buy especially when i only have $2,000 to spend on Performance parts?
I would get the s2k. More reliable and great stock performance. There also really isn’t much you can do for mods unless you go FI. But with $2000 you could get some new wheels with tires, lower the car, and maybe get a CAI that will add a couple horses.
With the rx7 being almost two decades old and having that rotor engine your just asking for problems. You could get an rx8 that is over ten years newer for that money. I know the 7s were better when new but thats a big time difference. You also might have problems getting an s2k for $10,000. I’m sure you can get one but with that cash your really scrapping the bottom of the bin.
For $10k, you should get the Lexus GS400…. V8 300hp…. 0-60mph in 5.7 sec…. 1/4 mile in 13 sec! STOCK!
