How Much Horse Power Would A Psi Turbo Give To A 99 Honda Accord Coupe V6,vtec?

5 Comments 04 September 2009

you asked a similar question with reguards to a super charger, the answers are the same, your not looking at anything else, you also dont specify if its auto or manual (i work for honda and ive never seen a manual accord in that style) No honda automatic transmission can handle that kind of increase, especially without alot of custom work, ive only seen one, and i repeat, one, 5 speed accord v6 and thats cuz the kid did custom work, those are luxury not race cars, your motor may be able to handle it, but your tranny wont
but to flat out answer your question, turbos offer a gain anywhere from 50HP and up with proper tuning, fuel system, engine management

I hope you did research, before you asked this question.
Because then you’d know, there’s no way to answer that.
What size turbo? What other supporting mods? What octane fuel? What cfm does the turbo flow? At what RPM?
    Etc.
You don’t just stick a turbo in a car, and get a set level of horsepower….

first off you dont tell the turbo size, how much of a boost your going to be running, the other mods that are currently on the car and its going to be a rough estimate if you really wanna know your going to have to take it to a dyno

you will need a new engine when you blow up your not ment to be turbo charged engine.
