VTECH=Bad house phone
VTEC=Variable Valve Timing And Electronic Lift Control
I believe the second one is the you wanted. And you can build that engine to hold turbo bro, just takes time, money, and tuning. You could also chip the car, maybe hondata?

hmmm are you sure its non vtech? if so then i don't think you have an ex. must be one of the lower model honda civics. But if you have an ex, then yea for starts coil overs, intake, headers. the coil overs won't give you any boost but will make it look nice and sleek. Up grade your clutch get a short shifter hehehe. Also make sure you park your car in the garage if you are going to do all this cause your car will be a sweet target on hunting season haha which is now in my area with all the fog setting in lol. I recommend buying an import tuner magazine. They give you a good idea on what upgrades you can do for boost and looks as well.
Well good luck and stay off the hunting list lol. showing strangers what you have will defiantly land you on the hunting list lol.

i personally have always been an NA fan. go for headers, intake, exhaust, cams, ports, pulleys and throttle body spacers and gaskets. it's not gonna be cheap but it's the safest route to boost your D16 motor.
