I Have A 2000 Stock Honda Prelude Vtech Coupe. What Parts & Accessories Can I Use To Modify My Vehicle Faster?

3 Comments 07 November 2009

Its just a stock vehicle. I know nothing of my car, except that its already fast and hits 170mph very easy. It has a slap stick and its also DOHC… Its automatic and digitally a stick shift also… I can red line 2nd gear and hit 90mph, before I shift to 3rd gear. Send me a list of modifications… I understand that I can’t use a twin turbo kit but a single turbo for this vehicle… I just want advice on fixing and customizing my ride so that I too can have a nice ride. I don’t worry about the money issues… Money is not a problem… I just want a tight, smooth, but fast *** ride… HELP!!! What parts should I look into and why?

    Yeah… What Marky said.
Then add a performance chip, fuel injectors (if necessary), larger throttle body, and mass air flow sensor (if applicable). Intake manifold….
Then put a huge Turbonectics Turbocharger on it!
To go faster, you need to get more air and fuel in, and more exhaust out.
    Have fun!!

I,m not sure if your car has a stock air-intake but on mine that was the first thing that I modify and second It would be the exaust system.
that would mage you a lite faster and you would gaing hp, then star thinking about that turbo charger…

Talk to the people at King Motorsports in Wisconsin. They have close ties with Honda, and helped Car & Driver create their winning RSX.
IF your Prelude can do 170, it must be the fastest one on the planet. I have never heard of such a thing. : -O
