Im Getting A 2007 Honda Civic Ex And Its An Auto So Can I Put A Turbo On It Aftermarket Or Would That Be Bad?

If you have an automatic don’t bother putting on a turbo. Not only is it going to put your transmission under tons of stress but you are not getting the full potential out of your engine. The torque converter and extra weight robs performance.
I personally think its a waste of money to do that on an auto. I also drive a civic and all you will be getting is high end power. We have no torque bro haha

OK the first guy is wrong you can do but it must be done RIGHT meaning not by yourself professionally. it’s not something that i would recommend to do. if you want to turbo on a civic get an older one that’s in good shape and 5speed and swap out the engine with an ls vetch, if you want performance. this is because not only is it better performance wise but it is also essayer and cheaper to fix if anything goes wrong. plus buddy not just that but you have way MORE options with a an older 5speed. by the way I’m not talking really old you can do it with most civics just do some research on the Internet, here everything is at your disposal.

do a swap why waste money on turbo
you have to chane some internel parts
    piston rings sleaves more
its cheaper to do a engine swap
