i have an 88 mustang lx 4 cylinder coupe auto car that i converted to a 2.3 turbo and t-5 trans from an 86 turbocoupe. i just moved to vegas, and need to know if it will pass smog with this engine, a carb legal 3 inch catalytic converter, 3inch exhaust, air to water intercooler, holset hx35 turbo, home made log style turbo manifold, functioning egr, etc, etc.. obviously it wont pass visual, but is there a legal way around this? the engine is 2 years older than the car, can they run the engine serial number and locate the year? like i said, all of the smog devices are installed and functioning.. im sweating this, lots of time and money in this car..

Those cars came with 4 cats built into the H-pipe, so if if you only have one cat, I am sure you will fail.
