Planning On Getting A 97 Honda Hatchback?

im planning on getting a 97 honda hatchback i always wanted 1. is there anyone out there that has one or knows alot about that model that can help me out. well im looking to make it look clean meaning nice body with rims. whats the best exaust system,cool intake system etc.. should i get.. whats better a engine b18 or h22? i want to put a turbo in it also..how much would u think all of that will cost? thanks

    I just sold my 97 hatch that had an h22, which was the third hatch I’ve owned. What I would do if I were you is save all my money to buy a k20. Just lower it a little bit and make it a sleeper. You’d be killin’ everybody and no one would ever expect it.

    Yea! Listen to the guy above me and get all the fanboy stuff so when you go to a meet you can’t find your car out of all the rest of them!!!
    1) goto Honda-tech.com… by far the best resource for honda related information on the internet.
    2) look at what other people have done, what kind of quarter mile times it has netted them and what you want your car to do. Then figure out from there whats reasonable for your goals
    3) DONT let people tell you what is hot and not…. otherwise everyone would be runnign around with the same 3 styles of wheels and lips on their cars with those stupid ‘new driver’ badges. If you like the way it looks / sounds / performs, thats all that matters.

    keep it clean with a nice jdm look slap some rota gt3’s on their add some fog lights lower the car a little bit put a carbon fiber rear wing on their and drop a h22 and go turbo with that bad boy lol but dont get a body kit those break and are just a pain unless you spend alot of money on one oh and i for got add a front and rear lip on that civic hope that helps
