ive mixed water sugar and turbo yeast
im trying to make my own home alcohol ive left it for two weeks in 25 degrees Temperature
Im not totally sure what i need to do next could you please tell me what to do?
And also what is 1 gallon in litres?

you have to distill it next. I’m assuming thats legal where you are and you are of age. Turbo yeast is crap unless you are going to used something like a valved refulx still to get like 190 proof neutral spirit because turbo gives off flavors. You’d be better using a regular wine yeast like a champagne type yeast. anyways you have to distill it to make alcohol.
If you are going to use a pot still you are going to want to do a stripping run…run the still pretty fast then put that back into the still for another run. There is a lot more to distilling that I can really describe here but the basic concept is that you heat your wash(essentially you have hopless beer) very slowly. There are many things in your “beer” and the each have different boiling points. Ie
Acetone 56.5C (134F)
Methanol (wood alcohol) 64C (147F)
Ethyl acetate 77.1C (171F)
Ethanol 78C (172F)
2-Propanol (rubbing alcohol) 82C (180F)
1-Propanol 97C (207F)
Water 100C (212F)
Butanol 116C (241F)
Amyl alcohol 137.8C (280F)
Furfural 161C (322F)
what you are doing is trying to boil them off in layers. You discard the layers you dont want and keep the alcohol layer. The still takes the gas and condenses it back so you can collect each layer.
i just got done doing the same thing for the first time! it was so fun as soon as the yeast settles out you can bottle it. Then dink and enjoy! i mix it with juice. i like lime ade the best, it seemed to suite the alcohol best.
