so i plan on putting a edlebrock turbo kit. which look at procivic.com and comes with almost everything other then exhaust. some skunk 2 full coilovers for suspension but i wanted to know what else am i missing that could be great to mod a civic. AND DONT TELL ME TO BUY A NEW CAR. I LIKE THIS ONE.

Im looking for my first car and like the 2002 Acura RSX base model (Honda Integra) , 2001 Toyota celica, 2000 Mazda miata (Mazda Mx-5).
Which one would be best when thinking of (in order):
exterior appeal, Performance / fun to drive, Fuel Economy, other features such as safety, interior appeal and space.
And any other car that could be good similar to these??? (keeping in mind that I’m in Australia and Turbos/Superchargers in a petrol and V8s+ are not allowed for P platers)

I do not race but I want to have the power to occasionally beat out my brothers 350z, which has exhaust, chip, intake, headers, and thats it.
be able to beat without question the average “souped up” honda civic.
be able to beat the majority of cars on the road in quarter mile times.
I am thinking Nitrous is the best answer as I am talking about needing power on tap 10 times a year or so. at most. I’m in the navy so i’m away about 8 months. I’d just like to show up my brother if needbe, when i’m down the shore, show up the usual honda’s if required, and the rest of the time have a great sporty driver which is reliable.

I own a 1993 honda civic ex coupe.. it has a b18c gsr.. no turbo yet!.. anyways ive been doing alot of street racing and i feel like my start is pretty bad…. at what rpm is the best to drop the clutch in 1st?? ive been doing like in between 3000 and 4000 then droping the clutch… and then shifting into 2nd at 6000 rpm?? i hear if you shift into 2nd at 7000rpm you lose HP?? anyways…. if anyone can help id apreciate it… just tell me whats the best rpm to drop the clutch at and the best rpm to shift into 2nd at… thx!!
