which one is the best? which one can i turbo charge? will it be safe with a turbo?

so i have the D16Y8 Vtec engine in my civic that has 26k. miles on it and i plan on getting turbo the edleblock performer X kit comes with many mods with turbo and intercooler so should i just upgrade the internels or go to a B-seris engine? whats the best thing to do?

I’m looking for a new car and the only thing I don’t like about the S2000 is the lack of low-end torque. Most people are concerned with HP but torque is what makes a vehicle quicker and wins races. I know a supercharger or turbo will improve it but I don’t want to spend that much money. Maybe there’s an ECU chip that adds more torque?

The car is a honda Del Sol. If the swap is better, what engine is best?
