ok i have a 2000 honda civic ex, two door with a D16 engine and i want to know if i wanted to put a computer chip on my car what kind should i get? Are the ones off ebay any good? I already have a new header, a new short ram intake, and a strut bar to increase my horsepowe, but i want a chip to make it have just a little more. and if anyone has any other suggestions for more horsepower besides a turbo or super charger let me know. My friend owns a 2007 Honda Civic DX if i remember correctly. He wants to install the turbocharger himself with the help of me. The only problem is that I have no experience in installing turbos and need all the information I can get(as detailed as possible). Is this a cost effective way of increasing horsepower? Can his engine handle the extra compression? What are some of the added/unexpected costs of installing one? What new parts are required? Where can I buy a turbo charger suited to his car? What brands to look for and others to stay away from?

Ok I don’t want to race the car and I could give a flying rat’s a$$ what kind of engine the car has….. (not intrestead in all that turbo s**t)….the only thing I care about is gas milage saving and if I can modify any type of Honda Civic to a more sporty look………or do I have to get a certain type of Honda Civic? Was looking at an ‘02 Honda Civic EX which has about 130 hp stock. Is it possible to get up to 200 hp without adding a turbo/supercharger?
Basically what I want to know is everything I can do to add horsepower but won’t hurt my engine… (N2O) and also not take too much of my fuel economy. Dual exhaust and larger intake would add a few horses and up my fuel economy. Any other tips? Was hoping for around 200 hp, and 0-60 time of around 7.5
