For some reason I can’t find out what the liter system in an engine means.
For instance, there are cars that are like “1.8 liter” 4 cyl. like the honda civic
or a chevy truck with a “6.6 liter” V-8 turbo diesel
considering that is kind of small and I know that the engine is much bigger than a few liters, what does it all mean?
Is each of the liters like the size of the cylinders or the pistons?

I was wondering does ne one know if you put on a blowoff valve does it make the sound that psssht!!! or do i real need to spend that $2300 on a turbo
my car is honda civic 06. SOme ppl told me to buy a fake one in ebay that the one u put on the tip of ur muffler?
is it gonna work?

I have a friend who just bought a used Honda Civic coupe, and he says it has somewhere around 180-190 horsepower, and from what I’ve heard, Civic’s only have about 130 horsepower. I keep telling him that his car does NOT have anywhere near that much, but he’ll bring it up again eventually. So, is he lying and would there even be any way to get a Civic to have 180-190 horsepower (besides getting a turbo/supercharger)?
Also, I would like to have something to say to him that proves that he does not have that much horsepower, so any advice on that would be helpful too.

does the 93 honda hatchback come with a vtec?, or do i have to buy an after market engine?
if not. what year did they start the vtec?
and also what does the vtec exactly do?, i’v heard it adds a boost at certain RPMs similar to a turbo but how much and is it even noticable?
what i’m picturing is the feeling of a small compression turbo, so i want to know if it is worth chasing the vtec civic or should i just go with a normal civic?
(and for any one who post a comment about ricers or crap like that, if you honestly took the time to read this and post a comment that civics are crap and your imaginary car in your imaginary mansion’s 12 car garage would smoke any civic or crap like that… dont waste my time, )
