Thinking about building a Honda Civic, first thing to go would be the stock engine. What recommendations would prefer for the civic’s bodystyle/year? Where would I find a complete K20 engine, different head parts, turbo systems etc.?

I recently bought a 89 Honda dx hatchback, and I’m starting to feel like its not what I payed for. The guy saidi have a 1.6 vtec engine and the pistons are high performance and I have all new high performance parts.. Turbo, intercooler, injectors and a few other high performance parts but I can’t get my vtec to pop and it doesn’t go that fast… The guy whom I purchased from said it was an acura motor so I’m thinking maybe my computers not up to par with my parts… What kind of computer should I purchase? Cheap but good… I dont want a NASA $1000 supercomputer, just something to give me some more power… Please help

well I have install a cold air intake on my car and a full-catback Tenable exhaust system but still I’m not satisfying with the little 15 hp gain. I want more power. so I was thinking on changing my Honda CRV 2.4 160PH V-Tech engine to Acura TSX 2.4 205HP V-Tech or Acura RDX 2.3 240 HP Turbo Charged V-Tech Engine. So what do you think of my idea, good or bod, I will also change the Transmission too. so tell me what do you think and if you have any helpful way of gaining HP with harming the engine please let me know because I was told I should turbo my 2.4 V-tech engine but it will decrease the level of my Engine fast so I’m not thinking about. so what is your opinion and suggestion.
