I just obtain a fairly mint condition 1991 Honda CRX SI (stock with 23,589 OG miles on it) from my dad. BTW, I’m pretty new to the whole modification scene so if I’m saying things wrong feel free to correct me. Anyways, I just wanted to know what should I do to it first. Engine wise, I got a free almost new B18 laying around because my friend moved to Japan and didn’t want it anymore. Should I swap engines or stick to the D16 and work my way up from there. I plan on using it as my daily car and prefer not to have a turbo because I don’t want to deal with psi or gages. If you guys can help recommend parts or what to tackle (this includes suspension and etc) then that would be great. Body wise I think I might remove the moon roof and replace it with a fiberglass top (I hate that moon roof) other wise I am going to keep the body stock. Money is an issue (damn recession) so I’m hoping not to spend anymore than 5k on this car, since everything was basicially free from the car to a new B18 engine. Thanks for the help!

i own a 2007 honda civic LX Sedan, with a 1.8 L i-Vtec engine. I want the car to give off a deep performance sound but i do not want to do any major mods like cold air intakes or turbo kits….i want to know if i add a performance muffler without any engine mods will it slow down the performance of my car. or is the 1.8 i-vtec STOCK engine powerful enough to still give off performance with a large muffler. ( the car is an Automatic ) Do Not Want To Change Transmission To Manual.

well right now my engine is straight stock. and i want to start street racing and my dad is the engine dude he takes them out puts new ones in all that. i want to know what would be the best/#1 engine for me honda crx 1990. it doesnt matter how much it is i want to be #1 on the finish line. i want it to be the fastest. and tell me what i need like axles transmision or anything else i need with my motor. im going to get a nitrous kit and turbo. i would prefer vtec to. so just give me some advice. please

my question, would that engine be able to fit into a 1998 lx honda civic?
