i have a 2000 accord with a vtec and i heard that a vtec is powerful so i was wonderning what can i do to make it go fast? besides a turbo what can i do.

I was Thinking about a turbo or supercharger but i wanna start small so a little on the cheaper side.. I will be buying a cold air intake system.. it has Dual Exhaust and i want to know a nice plan to maximize my power.. im happy on sounds already i just need help on the performance.. no help needed with audio i know what im doing there.

I just bought a 1997 honda prelude sh and im trying to make it run low 13’s all motor.

my best friend just bought a 2001 volkswagen vr6 last night and my 99 prelude is now challenged for the crown of fastest car among our friends. I want to make my car faster without adding exhaust because i hate the loud drone of an exhaust system. what can i do to do the engine naturally (no turbo) that will increase hp and make my car fly by his gti like hes standing still? I guess another side question to this question is whats the best way to start/launch my car in first gear? vtec kicks in around 5200 but tires spin so its tough to get a good start and he smokes me everytime cause he has traction control. any help is appreciated. thanks!
