I bought a Greddy Turbo kit for my honda civic si “08″ I have the warranty for it and I can return it, but should I go ahead with it and let my mechanic install it? It says it will boost 100+ horspower in the engine so how much millage will I loose? would It break over time? would I have to have lots of repairs later on?

I’ve got a 1998 Honda Civic HX… Got it from my grandma as a graduation gift so it’s in pristine condition… When I got it, it literally still smelt like a new car…
Anyhow I was wondering what parts i could put on it to make it faster or whatever… Some freinds were talking about new pipes, or cold air intake… Maybe even turbo… Maybe someone could list pros and cons of these… Or if there is a way to keep it how it is and just make the MPG’s higher id be cool with that… IDK already redid all the audio and stuff so it’s time to go under the hood!!!

i own a 2007 honda civic LX Sedan, with a 1.8 L i-Vtec engine. I want the car to give off a deep performance sound but i do not want to do any major mods like cold air intakes or turbo kits….i want to know if i add a performance muffler without any engine mods will it slow down the performance of my car. or is the 1.8 i-vtec STOCK engine powerful enough to still give off performance with a large muffler. ( the car is an Automatic ) Do Not Want To Change Transmission To Manual.
