I have a 1999 honda civic si (vti in the uk) and i am planning to supercharge it .. I read that if you do a compression test and leakdown test and they are ok you dont really need to rebuild your moto..
Both of the tests went ok however my moto has 130.000 mph and i was thinking to rebuild it If i am going to put a supercharge it .
What are your thoughts on that?
If i do rebuild the engine can you recommend parts (compression forged pistons,head gaskets etc) or companies that specialize on engine parts for 1999 si .. i looked at greddy but on their website they didnt have much for my car…
It seems that the most popular supercharger are JR and Vortex .. however i live in the uk and i was wondering if you can guys can recommend a company that specializes in the uk as for both of the above brands you can only get them in the U.S.
What gain (BHP) shall i expect to get from each supercharger (average)?

i would like something in the 200-500 price range preferably less
