You cant have one without the other. Boosting a cars performance works it harder, and decreases the lifespan of the engine. 100+ HP is a substantial gain for any engine. Everything is working harder now. Use the best oil, always change it more often. The cheapest "out" on car repairs, is good maintenance. And mileage???? Kiss it goodbye.
