It first started the last time it rained about 2 weeks ago. The next morning after the rain, my car wouldn’t start. It would make the starting noise but wouldn’t start. After many many times of trying, it finally starting while pushing on the gas pedal. Thick white smoke was coming out of the pipes in the back. My oil sick was lightly dripping tannish oil. My cousin said I had a crack in my head gasket. So he drained all of my fluids and poured some sealer stuff and refilled all my fluids. Then, here we are 2 weeks later the car has been fine, it rained the day before yesterday. Yesterday I try to go somewhere, SAME PROBLEM! So, I did the same thing. Kept turning the key while pushing on the has pedal and after many trys, it started. It drove just fine for about an hour or so. I came back home, waited a few hours, went out to start the car. It started just fine. This morning getting ready to go to work, started just fine and here I am now at work. WHAT COULD BE CAUSING THIS WIERD BEHAVIOR

White smoke is caused by coolant, have you noticed your levels going lower? The type of coolant in your car, (G12) cakes where there are leaks. Look around in your engine bay and see if there are any places where there is pink build up.
sounds like your spark system is getting wet…
I have the same exact symptoms on my Jetta too
It sounds like you might have cracks in your coilpack. those are usually more pronounced when the weather is wet. One way to test it is to mist it with water in a spray bottle in a darker area. If you see sparking, then that is the cause.

Here is an example of what I am talking about with the caking: http://www.fallastarmedia.com/vortex/clu…
