i think the S13 would win. SR20DE is not slow and b20 engines do have good torque i think but rev pretty low making it not too fast. also non vtec engines kinda suck. no doubt you could make one go fast(bisimoto.com) but in stock form they are simply subpar. also, s13=rwd while prelude=fwd. if you have a b20 and your a car enthusiast, just say you have a b-series motor and leave it at that.
A 21 year old car driving/racing above the speed limit. Unless you have completely rebuilt the suspension system. Keep On Racing but please do not swerve out of control into innocent people. Race on race tracks drag strips where there are safety people, fire trucks and ambalances ready. Remember there is always some honda owner who has out spent you.
Nissan by miles nissan is performance the s13 has better parts availability and the parts are cheaper, also its a rwd so drifting is an option. Hondas are good also but if a SR20DET is available screw the prelude that thing kills
I had the Prelude with the B20 engine and they are pretty fast with about 120hp. But the Nissan SR20 is a better motor.
It really all depends on the skill of the driver then. You should have a slight advantage being that your S13 is rwd.
Nissan is badasss
nissan
I would deffinitely say the s13 would win
