Stock – the GTI would outrun the Honda, even though the horsepower is roughly the same, the turbo has much more torque. If upgraded – who knows? There are so many options here there’s no way to answer that question – there are too many potential choices/factors.
If you want faster than these, buy an Evo or WRX Sti – because you’ll need AWD to put that extra power to the pavement.
