A turbo, if you can find a used one. They are usually less than $200 on e-bay.
I thought you ask for the most bang for your buck. A used turbo can be rebuilt, and still the cost will be a small fraction of a new one.
If cost is no concern, get a supercharger and nitro.

Turbo all the way. Get yourself a budget and work some numbers. Your turbo will be much more enjoyed with proper engine management and an upgraded clutch as well.
There are a bunch of kits out for preludes (hopefully your model) I would call someone like inline-pro.com they have some good stuff and good advice.
enjoy!
Both will give you great hp gains, its a matter of where in the power band you want your gains.
A turbo will give you high gains in your higher RPM range, but no gains in your low RPM range, and mild gains in your mid RPM range. This is because a Turbo has to wind up in order to give its boost, this is known as ‘Turbo Lag”
A supercharger however, give you gains through out the entire powerband, low, mid and high RPMs.
A supercharger wont give you as much hp as a turbo, but gives you more horsepower at low and mid RPMs than a turbo, which is beneficial to a quick start.
Furthermore, superchargers are a lot safer for your engine that turbochargers.
Turbos tend to generate massive amounts of heat, which can cause premature wearing of your engine components.
So, if you just want high top end power, go with a turbo.
If you want power throughout your entire powerband, go with a supercharger.
I personally prefer superchargers, as they are far more reliable than turbos, require less maintenance, and are 50 state CARB legal more often than turbochargers.
Good luck.
Turbochargers are the best. They are known for giving anywhere from 50-1000 HP.
Superchargers give 50-200HP.
Turbo… but dont buy it used
A turbo will be the best for you but do not buy it used, try getting a new one. Just save some money.
