A really productive product id a throttle body spacer it will give you aroung +10 hp and +15 ft/lbs of tourque on a stock civic for only about $110. A good start would be a cold air intake, throttle body spacer, Then you could add turbo and a cat back exhaust from there. Good Luck!

Well, consider some things before doing anything.
Superchargers and turbchargers affect the engine anytime its running.More fuel being used – all the time.
Nitrous oxide only works when you turn on the switch.
Supercharger and turbo kits for you car are $3000 dollars and up. Yes these are very good , highly reliable kits that include everything that you need to gain 50 + horsepower.
If you want to make and “design ” your own turbo kit there are plenty of manufacturers of every part you will need.
But keep in mind that there will be some fabrication necessary which means tools and money and time and know-how.
Nitrous oxide is an easy 4 hour installation with a “dry” nitrous kit. It cost about $50 dollars to fill the bottle . You get about 60 seconds worth of “fun”.About $500 for the kit with the basic stuff that you would need.
But , I caution you that there is no quick way to everything.
Combustion pressures go up temperatures go up ,stress on your entire engine goes up.
The asian tuners perform best – because they build their engines from the inside out – and Americans want instant gratification. We like bolt on solutions that take little time or effort and expect miracles.
Just be careful and realize that you have to maintain this vehicle as a result of the “need for speed”.
