Where Does A Turbo Charger Fit On A 1996 Honda Accord Lx?

3 Comments 12 August 2009

generally, it fits nicely in the passenger’s seat. make sure to buckle it in.
It works sort of like a conch shell. If you blow in it, it should make a trumpet sound. Your engine will hear it and become aroused, which gives it more power.

A turbo goes in place of you exhaust manifold (header)
And yes there a lot more to it than just putting on a turbo
First you need to build your block to handle boost, stock compression is too high for boost, and stock piston won’t be able to handle it
second, you can’t just throw on a turbo, unless you bought a complete kit, you’ll need a lot of other parts like injectors, intercooler, bov, ecu, etc.
Do research and invest your time and money on a good COMPLETE turbo kit, and build your engine so you can have a safe and reliable turbo car

It fits on the headers but the headers have to be built to hold a turbo.
Turbos are something to be left to the experts. You can do it your self if you know how to tune it. Without tuning it will not run right. The best thing to do is talk to a tuning shop near you. Go to cartuningcentral.com
Hope I was able to help.

if you have to ask then you are not ready for a boosted car.
check out sites like cb7tuner.com and honda-tech.
you will find tons of info on either site.
