I can’t explain it. There seems to be an obsession with making Hondas go faster, when every experienced driver remembers at least one time they wished with all their hearts they were going slower as they mashed the brake desperately.
When I moved to the mountains I traded my 300ZX in for a Toyota Prius. The irony is that the Prius gets me around town just as fast as the Nissan did in good weather, and in the winter the front wheel drive Prius is way faster than the rear wheel drive 300ZX was.

Most people can actually back it up, I got a 94 civic and right now it only has 135 hp but im getting a B18C5 with twin turbos which will get me somewhere between 350 to 450 hp. My friend got his to 497 hp and he’s reaching for 500. He took it to the strip one day and they all told him to get his POS honda out of there. He raced it and beat a 67 mustang fastback that was all beefed up and stuff. But now he street races because the people at the drag always booded him and if he tried to fight back the guys kicked him out so wasn’t gonna take this bullshit and left.
