A sports car can get more performance from a stick. This is an age old question which will be divided about 50-50. Automatics are better in stop and go city trafic. stick is more fun on a winding mountain road. My BMW Z3 is a stick and I wouldn't have it any other way. Also with the cluch the driver has more control over the vehicle as a whole.
