have a 90 eclipse turbo i was driving to big bear and it started overheating pulled over checked there was no water it pout some in then kept driving got home turned off car and saw a water fall of water coming out from under the car opened the hood it was coming from over flow . so today i filled up my radiator and opend the radiator cap and turned on my car i looked insinde and it was bubling and i saw a leak coming down were the water pump is so my questionis is my water pump of my head gasket or what thanks for future
i heard if the radiator is bubling that the head gasket is blown and my car last like 30 minuites before getting hot and making it spill everything throug overflow tank
oh yeah i also put some of that stop leak
my answer is try to check it out first on auto repair shop..
Could be several things…
Water pump is bad, thermostat is bad. To start I’d replace the thermostat and check the car. If it still over heats then have the water pump checked. Never use Stop Leak until you’re sure of whats wrong. It not only stops leaks it also gums up alot of other things.
